I’m so excited to share this Barlow Road Farm Park and Wood Hollow Metro Park (Hudson, Ohio) Maternity session with you today! When the Susanek Family reached out about maternity photos, I just couldn’t wait to work with them! There’s something so special about maternity sessions. Getting to pause and take in the moment before your family forever changes with the welcoming of a new tiny human to your family!


Barlow Road Farm Park and Wood Hollow Metro Park (Hudson, Ohio) Maternity Session


It was quite a cold and drizzly day in May, but this sweet family came and stuck it out anyway! Capturing the days of wonder before meeting the child that's been growing inside for the past several months is so special! You get the chance to slow down and dream a little about what this new member of the family will bring. The Barlow Road Farm Park had so many fun options for this session! We also popped over to Wood Hollow Metro Park to have some fun near the little pond right off the parking lot there.


Cold, Grey Maternity Session in May | Warm Photos


Their little guy, Fynn, was shivering a little and wanted to be close to mom and dad which made for great snuggle shots. Shaye was glowing, even in the grey weather, and looked perfect against the white flowers in the tree lined fence. Spring and maternity sessions just go so beautifully together! So happy to get to capture this family as three before they add a little sister to the mix.


To the Susanek Family, thank you so much for allowing me to capture these precious memories for you! Your family is the sweetest! I already know how great Fynn is, I can only imagen how wonderful your new baby girl will be. I can’t wait to see you all continue to grow together!
